Tuchodi
Tuchodi, you're so pretty
In September's Golden Dress
Cradled in the mountains
And flowing from the West
Where there's grayling in your waters
And the elk roam wild and free
If you ask me where I'd like to stay
I'll tell you the Tuchodi.
The west winds warm caresses
Slow in the winter when it is cold
To melt the snow from off the hills
Where the horses can grow old
It seems that you were set aside
When nature needed rest
Tuchodi, you're so pretty
In September's golden dress.
I often stop and wonder
As I ride along your shore
Of where we will be called to
When our life on earth is o'er
If someone then should ask me
Where I'd like to stop and rest
I'll answer "at Tuchodi
In September's golden dress"
